Gathering the Chi (Qi)

Use Gathering the Chi (Qi) when considering moving and bringing in the Life Force Energy instead of Punching the Life Force Energy. Doing the front [yin side] and the back [yang side] helps bring balance. This dynamic movement is good for releasing pent-up energy and anger. It helps with conditions like ADHD, AIDS, asthma, back problems, bleeding gums, and chronic stress.

The Movement:

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Inhale and bring your bent arms to your hands, reaching out in front with one arm and in the back with the other hand. Grab the Qi or Life-Force energy as you twist your arms, close yourfists around the energy, and then bring it back to the body. Both arms will be bent at yoursides.
  3. Exhale through your mouth,moving both arms out, one forward and the other one back.
  4. Inhale as you bring your fistsback tothe side of the body with your bent arms.
  5. Repeat continuing to alternate.
  6. Focus on releasing unwanted energy, such as anger, fear, and other emotions, and then bring in Life-Force good energy.
